IRDO’s 2023 strategy focuses on strengthening the facilitation of development initiatives amongst Tanzanian society, largely focused on the Songwe and Mbeya regions. The organizational aspirations for the coming five years have been outlined to provide a detailed understanding and focus on how our operations, programs and activities will be managed moving forward. Vision: “a capable IRDO, improved livelihoods and sustainable resource management amongst Tanzanian society.’’ Mission: “empowering disadvantaged communities in collaboration with CSOs and other stakeholders by diversifying their resource base and improving their quality of life through promotion of better livelihood systems.".
